PALACE OF FEFIÑANES

From the genitive of a germanic possesor, Fefilanis, were transmmitted to this grouping of the present of Cambados, the Galician name of Fefiñáns.

Passed the centuries, Fefiñáns to señorío of the Mitra belonged.They appear like owners, in the 15th century, the Valladares family, happening to which it is inferred to the Balboas family. By the end of 16th century goes to direc jurisdiction of the firsts owners, culminating its dominion with the obtaining of the viscountcy of Fefiñanes (1647)

Both first viscount, Don Gonzalo (1583-1659) and Don Fernando (1616-1675) are responsable, from principles of 16th century, of the main construction of the palace. Barroque of its bllazons grazes in the field triumphall in the facades the pomp, in the one of the palace lie down to see post-rennaissances.
